Yesterday, Leucan proudly launched its new website, refreshed and revamped with help from the team at Atypic.
Just in time for the beginning of September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Association’s website is now sporting brighter colours and a more human-centred look. The objective? To make visitors feel like they are part of the Leucan family. And with all the wonderful pictures and compelling personal stories that enhance the site, it’s clear that goal has been met! The user experience is more dynamic and personalized than ever and features three main browsing paths for visitors: one for parents affected by pediatric cancer, one for people who want to support the cause, and one for people who want to donate.
Throughout the month of September, a number of initiatives will raise public awareness of this important cause. One example is the Gold Ribbon, worn by anyone who wants to show their support for children and families affected by pediatric cancer. From lighting up the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa and city hall in Montréal to selling special ice cream to raise funds for Leucan and holding an Instagram contest, every effort will be made to raise awareness of the need to invest in clinical research in pediatric oncology.
