In another life, Arianne studied political communication and thought about becoming a journalist. Inspired by the concept of “buen vivir” and other new social movements, she followed her passion for international solidarity to India, and then to Senegal, for the World Social Forum. To what does she owe her change in career plans? Maybe in part to her meeting with the Dalai Lama during an internship with Canada World Youth. Today you can find her anywhere where people are mobilizing and shouting, whether it’s for the sheer fun of a good party or a demonstration to defend human rights.
